As a registered childminder, you’ll provide childcare for children under the age of 12 years old for more than two hours a day, within your own home. You’ll be self-employed and responsible for running your own business, this includes meeting legal requirements. You need to be motivated and expect to prepare paperwork.
You will provide a safe, fun and stimulating environment and support children’s play, learning and development through activities and experiences. Childminders are passionate about giving children the best start in life and often enter the profession to have a career that fits in with their family commitments
