Foster Care Fortnight

Foster Care Fortnight, 13 to 26 May, is The Fostering Network’s annual campaign to raise the profile of fostering.

The campaign is developed and delivered by The Fostering Network and showcases the commitment, passion and dedication of foster carers. It also supports fostering services to highlight the need for more foster carers.

Foster carers change lives. Every year children across Wales need foster carers while they can’t, for lots of different reasons, live with their own families.

Foster carers provide support to children and young people that could be life-changing. Thousands of new foster families are needed every year to care for children, with the greatest need being for foster carers for older children, sibling groups, disabled children and unaccompanied asylum-seeking children.

Thousands of new foster carers are needed every year, do you have what it takes to change a life?

There a range of ways to get involved with Foster Care Fortnight, through social media at #FCF19 and #changeafuture.
