Question 1: Why is it important to have Welsh speakers in social care?
“I have a few clients that speak Welsh and they feel so much more at ease with me speaking their language.”
Question 2: What does a typical day look like for you?
“Every day is different. It’s not monotonous and you don’t know what you’re going to walk into because all clients’ needs are different.”
Question 3: Have you always wanted to work in the sector?
“Not at all. I had a career change after seventeen years, but I wish I’d considered going into the care industry a lot sooner.”
